Alumni of Motilal Nehru College, South Campus, Delhi University, I completed my degree in humanities in 1996. English, Hindi, History, Political Science & Economics were the main subjects. An active participant in the college extracurricular activities & sporting events as well.

Responsible for the leadership, training, motivation, and direction of 135 people including seven senior managers in the areas of content management, design, operations, marketing and technology.

SAGE Publications India Pvt Ltd.
Led the team of content designers, production editors, project managers and developers to improvise on operation workflows, incorporating suitable publishing technologies enabling seamless delivery of multiple product output types from single source. The role also included the shared responsibility of Marketing Strategy and Supply Chain Management. SAGE also provided me with the valuable experience in handling offshoring for both Books and Journals publishing streams.

Head - Sourcing & Manufacturing

Head the product manufacturing operations for RELX India (previously known as LexisNexis), Law publishing vertical of Reed Elsevier. Job role entailed Lean Manufacturing, Multinational Sourcing, Negotiation, Vendor Management, Offshoring, Digital Asset Management, Digital Workflow implementation. Learnings from this rigorous strategic role gave my career a significant push and also opened up a whole new world of opportunities on consulting front.

The beginning of my learning curve in publishing business, by acquiring knowledge of print manufacturing techniques, material sourcing & print buying principles, and vendor management skills to contribute to the division’s yearly requirement of more than 3.5 million units, which only moved northwards as years passed. OUP’s senior management team entrusted their faith in my ability by providing me a chance to work for their most prestigious A&G Product Division. The OUP experience still continues to boost my career.

Managing and coordinating projects approved under Indo-Norwegian Technical Collaboration Programme (IND-040). Management and disbursement of Funds to Indian partners in the approved projects. Regular reporting to Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and Development Counselor, Norwegian Embassy.
